Prime Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) for our St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL.

This full-time position lives within our Family Birthplace, offering an opportunity to deliver patient-centered care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team alongside OB/GYNs and neonatologists. You will provide full-scope midwifery services, manage prenatal through newborn care, and participate in deliveries and rounds while supporting patient education on family planning and

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) license in Illinois.
• Master’s degree from an ACME-accredited nurse-midwifery program.
• BLS and NRP certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of midwifery experience preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope midwifery care to low-risk obstetric and gynecologic patients.
• Manage prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care.
• Participate in hospital deliveries and rounds.
• Educate and counsel patients on family planning, wellness, and preventative care.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
