Lifeline Medical Associates, part of Unified Women’s Healthcare, seeks a Certified Nurse-Midwife to join their West Long Branch practice. The role includes one office day per week seeing 25 patients, and two 16-hour call shifts (overnight) with a busy delivery schedule.

The practice operates across three locations (West Long Branch, Lakewood, Middletown) with Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch for deliveries and procedures.

Qualifications

• AMCB CNM certification required.
• MS/MSN or equivalent nursing master’s degree.
• ACME-accredited nurse-midwifery program completion.
• Active RN license in good standing.

West Long Branch

to join their prestigious practice in West Long Branch.

About the Practice

The practice currently has 6 OB/GYN physicians, 3 certified nurse midwives, and great support staff. The practice has a solid patient base that has been built up over 30 years of providing excellent care to patients in the New Jersey shore area. There are 3 practice locations and the hospital utilized for deliveries and surgical procedures is Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ. This is an excellent hospital system with a solid reputation that includes women’s health subspecialists & a level 3 NICU. A great opportunity for a graduating or an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join a practice that is growing, in a great location, and will provide a great career working in many facets of women’s health.

Position Highlights

• 1 Office day per week seeing 25 patients
• 2 - 16 hour call shifts (overnight)
• 80-85 Deliveries per month as a group

Requirements

• AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
• Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
• Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
• Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
• CPR and NALS Certification
• Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
• One year of full-time experience as a CNM is required.
