LifeLong Medical Care in San Pablo, CA, seeks a Full-Time or Part-Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join the Brookside San Pablo Health Center (BSP). The CNM provides prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care in a community clinic setting, with a perinatal lead role and collaborative team duties.

The position is represented by UAPD; compensation falls under a CBA with good benefits, loan repayment options, and a flexible schedule to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• CNM licensure and board certification.
• Experience providing prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care.
• Ability to coordinate care with interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to provide patient education.

Responsibilities

• Provides prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological health care including: screening, health maintenance and disease prevention, management of acute and chronic gynecological conditions, and making appropriate referrals and follow‑up for diagnostic and specialty services.
• This role includes four hours of administrative time as the Perinatal Lead at Howard Daniel; leading monthly multidisciplinary team meetings and supporting new department members.
• Coordinates care with other health team members including behavioral health staff.
• Acts as an advocate for the patient and liaison with outside agencies as appropriate.
• Provides verbal and written education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintains patient records for clinic reporting, billing, and quality improvement.
• Encouraged to provide some care as shared medical visits.
• Consults with LifeLong physicians as appropriate.
• Participates in LifeLong Clinicians Association and adheres to its Code of Conduct.
• Attends clinical team meetings and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
• May be involved in supervision and teaching of residents, students or fellows.

LifeLong Medical Care has an exciting and rewarding opportunity searching for a Full-Time or Part-Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join the team at our Brookside San Pablo Health Center (BSP). The CNM provides general prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological health services in a community clinic setting.

This position is represented by UAPD. Salaries and benefits are set by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA), and an employee in this position must remain a member in good standing of UAPD, as defined in the CBA.

Compensation: $127,504 - $151,153.60/year depending on years since licensed and pro‑rated to FTE, sign‑on bonus, and excellent benefits:
