Physicians East, P.A. in Eastern North Carolina is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join our private obstetrics and gynecology practice.
The CNM will provide full-scope midwifery care across prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services, collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality care. The ideal candidate has a CNM degree, current RN license, AMCB certification, BLS/NRP, and 1–2 years of midwifery experience (new grads considered).
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing private obstetrics and gynecology practice. The CNM will provide full‑scope midwifery care including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological services, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and high‑quality care for women across the lifespan.
Supervision Exercised: None.
Typical Physical Demands: Requires full range of body motion, manual dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination. Involves standing and walking. Requires normal speech and visual acuity and hearing. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires working extended hours in hospital setting. Requires covering call day, night, and weekend hours. Requires call coverage during holidays.
Typical Working Conditions: Frequent exposures to hazards found in clinic environments and hospital settings involving direct patient care.
