Job summary

Program participants gain hands-on clinical experience while meeting licensure requirements; preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior healthcare exposure, and must obtain BLS within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Prior patient care or health care related experience preferred.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision (vitals, bathing, dressing).
• Move patients, change linens and assist with daily activities as assigned.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
