Job summary

The Pearl of St. Charles in Illinois is seeking a compassionate, energetic Certified Nurse Assistant to join our care team. We offer new pay rates ranging from $18.50 to $25.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and retirement options.

This role supports residents with daily living activities and promotes health, welfare and safety. Qualified candidates hold an Illinois CNA certification; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Illinois Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certification is required.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Completes charge and inventory slips and monitors supply inventory daily; cleans instruments and returns to proper area after use.
• Maintains resident stability by checking vital signs and recording intake and output.
• Provides resident comfort by responding to call lights and requests; reports observations to the nursing supervisor.
• Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protects privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; complies with HIPAA and related laws.
• Adheres to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients.
• Engages in clinical management of patients.

Description:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing resident care and support in all activities of daily living and ensures the health, welfare and safety of all residents.

Responsibilities:

• Provide for resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; answering call lights and requests; reporting observations of the residents to the nursing supervisor.
