Certified Nurse Assistant

Singing Hills Surgery Center is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Situated just north of San Antonio in Comal County. We have 2 OR rooms and perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, Pain Management, and Spine.

Position requires weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Responsibilities

The CNA duties will include stocking Recovery Room bedsides, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones, and assisting RNs as needed. The role will also include transporting patients into the vehicles once discharged, completing screening questionnaires, cleaning/making beds, wiping down bedside areas, preparing linen bags if needed, monitoring food supply levels, stocking nourishment areas, and reporting when food needs to be ordered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant credential
• One year of experience directly related to the duties described

• Strong patient interviewing skills
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures according to established protocols
