Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to support pediatric patients in Springfield, MO. The role involves taking vitals, assisting with daily activities, and reporting changes to nursing staff under supervision. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Preferred candidates hold MO CNA licensure or equivalent, with recent inpatient or long-term care experience. Hours include day shifts with a schedule spanning early morning to early evening, and benefits for 20+ hours

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months CNA-related inpatient or long-term care experience in past 3 years, EMT, or Surgical Technologist, or completion of relevant CNA program.
• Missouri CNA license or MO CNA Appendix with license obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under nursing staff direction.
• Take vitals and assist with daily activities (bathing, dressing, mobility).
• Change linens and assist with other assigned duties.
• Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
