Job summary

CoxHealth Center Branson in Branson, Missouri, is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision. Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting with activities of daily living, moving patients, and reporting changes in patient condition.

This full-time role supports the Nursing Float Pool Branson department with a day shift from early morning to evening. Qualifications include MO CNA license, 3 months experience in inpatient or long-term care, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months experience as nursing assistant in inpatient/long-term care, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in last 3 years.
• Completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within past 3 years.
• Must have Missouri CNA License.
• MO CNA Appendix and license must be obtained within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens, and report changes in patient condition.
• Obtain information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff and report any changes.

Education

Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience

Required:

• 3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years OR
• Completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years OR
• Completed the “fundamentals of nursing” course with clinical in an accredited nursing program or practical nursing education program OR
• Must have Missouri CNA License OR
• Must have MO CNA Appendix AND MO CNA license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
