Job summary

Salina Regional Health Center, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant Lead to support the Director of Nursing in coordinating CNA activities and resident care.

You will deliver high-quality personal care and comfort for patients across levels of care, including Alzheimer's/dementia, short-term recovery, and on-site rehab services. The role requires completion of an accredited CNA program, BLS certification within 90 days of employment, and at least one year of CNA experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified nurse assistant training course.
• At least one year of nurse assisting experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification obtained within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

The Certified Nurse Assistant Lead works closely with the Director of Nursing to monitor CNA activities and resident care. Provides quality care by performing patient care activities and related services necessary to care for the personal needs and comfort of patients based on each person's level of care required, including Alzheimer's and dementia, short term recovery, skilled nursing, adult day care, and on-site rehabilitation services. Assists with providing a safe, comforting, and calm environment for the patient/resident.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified nurse assistant training course
• One year nurse assisting experience preferred
• Required Registration/License/Certification
  • Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
