Job summary

Lindsborg hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care in our clinic setting. The role includes assisting nurses, taking vital signs, transporting patients and handling clerical tasks as assigned.

The position is part time, day shift, Monday through Thursday 8-5, with BLS certification required within 90 days. High school diploma or GED and CNA training are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Completion of a Certified Nurse Assistant training course.
• 1-2 years nurse assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care as assigned by team lead, professional nursing staff or physicians in the clinic setting.
• Schedule patient appointments, take vital signs, transport patients, clerical support and assist with interventions as directed.
• Interact with other departments for cleaning, restocking supplies and overall patient flow under supervision.

Job description

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing quality patient care as assigned by team lead, professional nursing staff or physicians in the clinic setting. This includes scheduling patient appointments, taking vital signs, transporting patients, clerical support, and helping the professional nurse with interventions. The CNA also interacts with other departments as needed to perform cleaning, restock supplies, all under the direction of their appropriate supervisor. T

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High School graduate or GED preferred

Completion of a Certified Nurse Assistant training course.

1-2 years nurse assistant experience preferred

Required Registration/License/Certification

Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association- Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
