This level of care would not be possible without our compassionate and focused staff working with residents, families, and physicians to create individualized and effective care and treatment plans.Our company recognizes the amazing efforts of our staff and values their downtime with a work-life balance.A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CNAPerforms resident care activities and related non professional nursing services under the direction of the Supervisor to provide quality care of residents.DUTIES include but not limited to:Providing individualized attention and nursing care in accordance with resident care plan which includes communication, assistance with grooming, bathing, oral appliances, transferring, ambulation, and range of motion, as appropriate.Observes and reports changes in resident conditions to SupervisorPerforms tasks assigned by Supervisor including vital signs, weights, applying non prescription creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.Escorts residents to dining room, assists with feeding and verifies meal consumptionMaintains clean, neat and organized work environmentProtects the personal belongings of each residentAnswers call lights promptly and courteouslyEscorts residents to appointments, including beauty shop, activities, church services, and participates in activities and functions as directedDocumentationParticipates in the training and orientation of new staff by demonstrating a positive, helpful, and enthusiastic attitudeIdentifies and appropriately responds to potential and/or actual behavioral outbursts.Standard requirements/Qualifications:1.
