Job summary

Watertownhcc is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, feeding, and hydration in a patient-centered setting. In this role you will observe and report changes to the nursing staff, maintain cleanliness, assist with medical equipment, and ensure patient comfort while following infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Daily Living Activities: Help patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Mobility Assistance: Assist patients with mobility and ambulation, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or assisting with walking.
• Feeding and Hydration: Assist with feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and ensure that patients stay hydrated.
• Observation and Reporting: Observe and report any changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Patient Comfort: Ensure that patients are comfortable and assist with repositioning to prevent pressure ulcers.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep patients' living areas and equipment clean and orderly.
• Medical Equipment Use: Assist with the use of medical equipment, such as mobility aids, bedpans, and other assistive devices.
• Infection Control: Follow proper infection control procedures to prevent the spread of infections.

Shift Times

First Shift: 6AM - 2PM

Second Shift: 2PM - 10PM Plus $2 an hour

Third Shift: 10PM - 6AM Plus $2 an hour
