The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a 17 bed unit providing care to children whose ages range from newborn to 18 years old. The interdisciplinary team, including the nurse, physician, respiratory therapist, physical/occupational therapist, and child life specialist, work closely with the patient and family to provide individualized care and support.

Certified Nursing Assistants assist with caring for patients, including psychiatric and rehabilitative patients. They administer treatment and personal care procedures to patients including feeding, bathing, shaving, changing clothing, trimming fingernails, bed-making, and assisting with ambulation.
