Job Description

As a vital part of the Nursing Team, CNAs are essential for care planning and delivering individualized resident health needs. We value CNAs as professionals and offer opportunities for career growth in nursing.

Position Summary

Perform or assist with residents’ basic personal hygiene and activities of daily living, ensuring their social, emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Essential Duties

  • Responsible for residents’ daily hygiene care.
  • Learn residents’ preferences to personalize care.
  • Accurately document and report discrepancies.
  • Apply safety, infection control, and risk management procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors about residents’ status.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Colorado State Certified Nursing Assistant License.
  • 3-6 months experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

  • Medium-heavy physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds.
  • Constant standing and walking, occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, grasping.
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and communicable diseases.
  • Frequent interruptions and interactions with residents, families, and visitors.
