Job summary

West River Health Services in southwestern North Dakota is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide essential bedside care on our Med Surg unit within a Critical Access Hospital setting.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, support physicians, transport patients and specimens, and collaborate across departments. A high school diploma is required, ND CNA certification or ability to obtain within 6 months, and willingness to rotate nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ND CNA certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Willing to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care.
• Take vital signs, collect specimens, and document patient information accurately.
• Assist physicians and providers with routine exams and procedures.
• Transport patients and specimens throughout the hospital.
• Cross-train across departments as needed (acute, swing bed, emergency department).
