Job description

Assured and Associates Personal Care of GA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and self-driven caregivers with excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team. Our services are provided in clients' homes.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with hygiene and daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, and transferring using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, or sliding boards.
2. Assist and set up clients for meals, ambulate, turn, and position patients as needed.
3. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and assist clients with doctor appointments.
4. Document intake and output, including urine, specimens, glucose levels, and vital signs electronically.
5. Support home exercises, range of motion activities, and ambulation.
6. Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
7. Report any changes in patient condition to the charge nurse promptly.

Requirements:

1. Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or equivalent.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (American Heart Association preferred).
4. TB test results.
5. Previous experience in hospital, home health, or skilled facilities with acceptable references is preferred.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
8. Ability to lift at least 10 pounds or more.
