Job description

Mt. Olympus is a fantastic skilled nursing facility located in Salt Lake City, UT. We are restructuring our team to best support its growth and the needs of our residents! We are currently hiring CNAs to work the floor. However, there is a path of progression for our CNAs - to either become a CNA Lead or CNA Mentor. Hours: We are hiring part time for the weekends!

Morning Shift - 6 AM to 6 PM Saturday and Sunday

Evening Shift - 2 PM to 10 PM on Thursday

Wages and Benefits:

• Hourly range of $15-$22
• CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

Training:

• On-the-job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience.

Requirements:

• Current CNA certification
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regard to long-term care

Job Duties:

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive an appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and developing relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
