Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services in Rock Hill, SC is seeking compassionate caregivers to help clients age in place. Positions offer 4-, 8-, and 12-hour shifts with day and evening options across York and Lancaster County.

Roles include bathing, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping and supportive activities. We offer training, benefits, and opportunities for CNA or Alzheimer’s certification as part of a mission-based team.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for elderly and disabled people.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver license and auto insurance.
• Must have a clean background record and pass a drug screen.
• Must be dependable and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with day-to-day activities so they can age in place.
• Help with bathing and dressing to start the day well.
• Prepare nutritious meals to support health and energy.
• Help ensure medications are taken to reduce hospital visits.
• Run errands as needed for clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping for a safe home.
• Support physical and mental exercises to improve health and reduce falls.

YOUR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will be working with our clients helping them with day-to-day activities so that they can age in place. You will have a MAJOR impact on their life helping them with things like….
• Bathing and dressing so they can start their day feeling good.
• Preparing nutritious meals for them so their body can heal, and they will have the energy they need to make it through the day.
• Make sure they are taking their medications to reduce visits to the hospital.
• Sometimes run errands for them.
• Helping with light housekeeping so that their environment is clean and safe…
• Assist them with other mental and physical exercises designed to help them improve their health and reduce the risk of fall.
