Job summary

Kenwood Health & Rehabilitation in Kentucky is seeking dedicated nursing assistants to provide resident care in accordance with residents' wishes and the care plan objectives. All shifts including 8 hour shifts and Weekend Warriors are available, with weekday and weekend differential options.

Qualifications

• State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program completed.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience or equivalent education/experience preferred.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents' needs and ensures call lights are within reach.
• Checks residents who are unable to call for help.
• Provides direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Explains procedures to residents.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education

State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program

LTC nursing assistant experience or equivalent education/experience

Good standing in state registry
