Job summary

Jackson Manor is seeking compassionate Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) to provide high-quality resident care in our senior living community. This role includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring residents, and supporting a caring team in a facility backed by a large network.

We offer FT day and night shifts, weekend rotation, and competitive pay with benefits, PTO, tuition reimbursement, and a $3,500 sign-on bonus for qualifying full-time candidates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• Missouri CNA certification required.
• Six months experience in long-term care preferred.
• Maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises.
• Provides for personal care and comfort.
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and intake/output as directed.
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services.
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family.
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents’ clinical condition.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Available Shifts:

• FT Days- 7:00am - 7:00pm

• FT Nights- 7:00pm - 7:00am

• Candidates must be willing to work every other weekend

Pay, Benefits and Perks of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• $3,500 sign-on bonus for full-time qualifying candidates

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred

• Must pass a state-issued exam

• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Missouri

• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.

• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.

• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and center staff
