Job description

Assured and Associates is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA will provide nursing care to patients and assist with daily activities such as bathing, eating, and toileting.

Responsibilities:

1. Patient care: Instill confidence and trust in patients by providing hygiene and daily living assistance, including toileting, bathing, assisting with showers, supporting meals, and repositioning patients as needed.
2. Medical needs: Check vital signs, perform urine testing, and collect specimens. Administer non-sterile dressings, surgical preparations, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz baths, and therapeutic baths.
3. Professional development: Maintain specialized training and perform additional tasks relevant to the assigned patient or area.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a nursing assistant course or equivalent
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous hospital experience with acceptable references preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
