- Estimated Compensation: $15.53 - $16.89 per hour (negotiable)
- Type of Employment: Full-Time, 40 hours a week

Summary of Duties
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential care and support to patients in healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences. CNAs assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Current CNA Certification for the state of New Mexico
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification, in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and patient-focused care
- Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Work collaboratively in a team environment
- Maintain physical stamina and the ability to lift or move patients
- Pay attention to detail and possess strong observational skills
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support mobility, including transferring patients from beds to wheelchairs and repositioning to prevent bedsores
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure
- Support patients during meals, including feeding and monitoring dietary intake
- Maintain clean and organized patient rooms, ensuring necessary supplies are available
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Report changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff promptly
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure patient and staff well-being
- Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records
