Job summary

Cadia Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Delaware. You will assist with admissions, daily living activities, meals, and resident care, while documenting in the Electronic Health Record and communicating changes to licensed staff.

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and DE State CNA certification. Prior CNA experience is preferred but not required; we value compassion and teamwork to support residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• DE State CNA certification must be active.
• 6 months CNA experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission, discharge or transfer of residents.
• Take and record weights and vital signs as assigned.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (hygiene, bathing, dressing, etc.).
• Pass meal trays and assist with meals and water as needed.
• Escort residents to meals, activities and appointments.
• Answer call bells and perform safety rounds.
• Keep resident rooms and service areas clean and safe.
• Distribute and change linens as needed.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to licensed staff.
• Complete documentation in the Electronic Health Record.
