Job summary

Heritage Villa is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team in Oklahoma. You will assist residents with daily living activities, provide personal care, and support the nursing team in delivering high-quality care in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must pass a state-issued exam.
• CNA certification in Oklahoma is required.
• Six months experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Assist residents with feeding and range of motion exercises.
• Provide personal care and comfort and assist with mobility.
• Take and record vital signs as directed, and communicate changes to the nursing team.

Available Shifts:

• Evenings- Monday - Friday; 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm
• Nights- Monday - Friday; 10:30 pm - 6:30 am
• PRN

Essential Functions of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
• Assists resident with range of motion exercises
• Provides for personal care and comfort
• Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
• Assists residents with ambulation for short distance in center
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
• Provides direct and indirect resident care services
• Meets the communication needs of resident and family
• Communicates to nursing team changes in residents' clinical condition
• Performs other tasks as assigned

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

• High School diploma or general equivalency is preferred
• Must pass a state-issued exam
• Required valid certification as a CNA in the state of Oklahoma
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and facility staff
