St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA) for the 4NW TCU Cardiac/Telemetry Step Down Unit at Florence Hospital. The role is part-time (24 hours/week) with 7A-7P shifts, performing clerical coordination and direct patient care under supervision.

Required CNA certification in the state of work, English communication, and completion of state CNA coursework and exam. CPR for professional rescuer is expected.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required in the state of employment.
• Proficiency in reading and communicating in English.
• Completion of applicable state CNA courses and exam requirements.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

The Certified Nursing Assistant/Clerical Assistant is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the clerical functions of the unit and provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN:

• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Provides patients personal care and comfort
• Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

• Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of applicable state courses.
• Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
• Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
• Must have CPR for the professional rescuer.

Specialized Knowledge:

• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.

Kind and Length of Experience:

• Successful work employment history.
