Job description

San Jose Behavioral Health Center is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to addressing the needs of individuals with mental illness. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorder, and schizophrenia. We are looking for a full‑time caring and dedicated CNA for AM shift (7AM-3PM) & NOC shift (11PM-7AM). We offer competitive wages and benefits to the right candidate.

Signing Bonus $500, to be paid as follows: $150 after 60 days, $150 after 90 days and $200 after 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.
• Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Current CA nursing assistant certification
• Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or in‑patient rehabilitation or in‑patient behavioral health setting
