Medical University Hospital Authority is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join its hospital care team. The CNA will work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver hands-on patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and a healing environment during hospital stays.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, hygiene support, bed linens, transport assistance, meal service, vital signs, and collaboration with nurses to maintain quality care. Requires SC CNA registration and BLS.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina (SC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per AHA is required.

Mansioni

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Help ensure patient comfort and safety at all times.
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean patient space.
• Assist transporting patients to tests and procedures.
• Serve and collect meal trays and provide between-meal nourishment.
• Record temperature and vital signs as directed by nursing staff.
• Support the nursing team with various patient care activities.

Job Description

As a CNA, you’ll work side‑by‑side with Registered Nurses to ensure patients feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their hospital stay. Your dedication and attentiveness help create a healing environment where patients receive the highest level of care.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Education: A high school diploma or GED required.

Required Licensure, Certifications, and Registrations: Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina, and Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
