The Center at Lowry is a skilled nursing facility offering physical rehabilitation and complex nursing care. Our staff provides care in a hotel-like atmosphere, helping patients regain strength and functionality. Our comprehensive program includes skilled nursing, family involvement, psychological care, and discharge planning, designed to maximize patient outcomes with state-of-the-art equipment and comfort.
The primary purpose of your position is to provide routine daily nursing care to patients according to their assessment and care plan, under supervision.
As a CNA, you are delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability to carry out your duties.
This includes essential duties such as maintaining accurate records, assisting with admissions and transfers, providing personal care, ensuring resident rights, maintaining safety and sanitation, operating equipment properly, and participating in staff development.
Work involves moving throughout the nursing service area, dealing with residents, personnel, and visitors, often under stressful conditions, including potential exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous chemicals. Must meet health requirements including a medical exam.
Must be able to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, assisting in emergencies, and working beyond normal hours when necessary.
