Schedule: Full Time | 36 hours per week | 6:30pm - 7:00am | No Scheduling Mandation

Pay Range: $21.94 - $25.55/hr. (this rate is inclusive of the $3.40/hr. Michigan Skilled Nursing Facility Direct Care Worker Pass-Through approved rate; current approval through September 30, 2025)

Shift Differentials, Holiday, and Weekend Differentials: Beginning 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm $1.00 | Beginning 10:31 pm - 7:00 am $0.75 | Weekend (Fri 10:31 pm - Sun 11:00 pm) $1.00

What You’ll Do in This Role:

Are you a compassionate caregiver with a heart for helping others? As a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in our skilled nursing community, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest quality care. From assisting with daily activities to providing comfort and companionship, your work will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Hands-On Care: Assist residents with personal care like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
2. Mealtime Magic: Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
3. Keeping Things Moving: Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
4. Vital Checks: Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
5. Comfort & Care: Keep residents’ rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
6. Be the Hero They Need: Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
7. Specimen Collection: Collect and label specimens when needed.
8. Watchful Eyes: Report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team ASAP.
9. Team Player Vibes: Participate in care conferences to ensure residents get the best support.
10. Respect & Professionalism: Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.

What You’ll Need:

A current and valid Michigan CNA Certification (a must!)
Experience caring for the elderly? Awesome! If not, we’ll teach you.
The ability to read, write, understand, and follow directions like a pro.
A heart for helping others and the physical ability to lift, stand, bend, transfer, stretch, walk, push, and pull as needed.
