Rochester Regional Health's Observation department in CPH is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under licensed staff. Evening, night and weekend shifts with required BLS and a high school diploma, and completion of a Basic Nursing Assistant Program preferred.
The role involves vital signs, daily cares, meals, transfers, and responding to patient needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.
