The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) completes specialized training in areas of leadership, mentoring and person-centered care. Nursing care and nursing related services are provided to residents and patients according to each resident’s/patient’s comprehensive assessment and plan of care. All resident/patient care is provided in a manner that meets the resident’s/patient’s physical, mental and psychosocial needs and enables the individual to attain and maintain the highest practical level of functioning.
