Lifepoint Health's Rutherford Regional Hospital in North Carolina is recruiting a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time night shifts. You will support nurses with basic patient care and ensure safe, clean patient environments, while completing essential documentation and tasks.

Responsabilités

• Performs basic patient care as delegated by an RN, including vitals and glucose measurements, and records intake/output.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Maintains clean, safe, and stocked patient rooms and common areas.
• Manages the tech desk and supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned; participates in performance improvement and required education.

How you'll contribute

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) excels in this role:

• Performs basic patient care as delegated by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
• Maintains clean, safe, and well-stocked patient rooms and common areas.
• Manages the tech desk and supports nursing/physician staff and overall department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned; participates in performance improvement and required education.
