Hospice of Holland, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team in Holland, MI. The position supports hospice patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Case Manager and works Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.

to 5 p.m., providing compassionate personal care and observations. The CNA will document care, report observations, and participate in an interdisciplinary team to promote patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year experience in hospice, long term care, or home care.
• Must be a Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) in Michigan (CNA sponsorships may be available).

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care (bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, changing bed linen, washing hair, nail care).
• Assist with patient safety needs and ambulation/exercises.
• Assist with feeding as needed and take/record vital signs.
• Support respite care for caregiver on-site when needed.
• Assist with range of motion and other simple procedures to maintain comfort.

Position Summary:

The first-shift Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) works out of our Holland office and is a member of the interdisciplinary group working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Case Manager providing various services for hospice patients as necessary to meet their personal needs and to promote comfort. The Certified Nurse's Aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care given.

Position Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Assisting with ambulation and exercises as assigned
• Assists with feeding, as needed
• Takes and records vital signs
• Assists with respite for caregiver when on-site, (as needed)
• Assists with range of motion and other simple procedures to maintain comfort

• Be a Certified Nurse’s Aide (CNA) in the State of Michigan (CNA sponsorships may be available)
