Description
Primary Responsibilities

The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.

Essential Functions
  • Assist residents with daily tasks such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing food intake, hair and nail care, moving residents, and responding to calls.
  • Follow resident care policies and procedures.
  • Measure and record vital signs as assigned.
  • Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
  • Contribute knowledge of resident conditions to care plans.
  • Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in residents' conditions.
Qualifications
Educational/Training Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Licensing Requirements
  • Valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license required.
Experience Requirements
  • Experience in long-term care preferred.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
