Job summary

Cascade Senior Care Center is seeking dedicated Nursing Aides to provide compassionate daily care to our guests. You will assist with activities of daily living, observe changes in condition, and document care plans under supervision.

This EPIC team offers competitive hourly wages up to 22.90 starting, hero pay, yearly increases, tuition reimbursement, loan repayment, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, PTO, holidays, 401k with match, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must hold State of Michigan CNA certification.
• Completed an approved nurse aide training program and passed the required test.
• Excellent customer service skills and a team player.
• Ability to provide compassionate daily living assistance and report changes promptly.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and exceptional customer service in daily interactions.
• Perform and document patient care per individualized care plans.
• Assist with bathing, daily living activities, mobility, and routine health checks.
• Support therapies and observe changes, reporting to the nursing team.
• Dutifully document nutritional intake, vitals, and other care metrics.

They build relationships with our patients and families while providing assistance with activities of daily living.Our Nursing Assistants are uniquely positioned to notice changes in mood and behavior that are key in helping our clinical team recognize potential medical issues. We rely on our Nurse Aides because they are a fundamental and valuable component of our clinical nursing team.

You will earn: up to $22.90 per hour to start!

• Starting wage $19.50 per hour
• PLUS $3.40 per hour hero pay

We can work with your scheduling needs:

• 8 hour shifts - All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays.
• Part Time or Full Time available
• 2nd Shift - (2p-10:30p)
• 3rd Shift - (10p-6:30a)

How you will help people every day:

• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• You will perform and document patient care using the individualized care plans as a guide. Bathing and all activities of daily living related care, such as skin care, preventative and supportive care, routine morning and evening mouth care, shaving, and dressing.
• You will perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
• You will support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative and recreational therapies by positively encouraging and promoting continued well-being.
• You will observe and report, as necessary, significant changes in routine or condition as appropriate to your nursing team

What you will need to be part of ourEPICteam:

• You have completed of an approved nurse aide training programand passed test.
• Current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification from the State of Michigan REQUIRED.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
