Job summary

Cascade Senior Care Center in Jackson, MI is seeking a compassionate Nursing Aide (CNA) to join our EPIC team. You will assist guests with daily living activities, monitor changes, and document care plans as part of a collaborative nursing team.

We offer flexible 2nd and 3rd shift schedules, full-time and part-time options, and a starting wage of up to $22.90 per hour with hero pay. Benefits include medical/dental, PTO, holidays, 401k, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required by Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, mobility).
• Observe and document patients' condition and changes in behavior.
• Support clinical team by noting mood/behavior changes and reporting to nurses.
• Promote hospitality and positive interactions with guests and families.
• Follow individualized care plans and ensure safety during care.

Our Nursing Assistants are uniquely positioned to notice changes in mood and behavior that are key in helping our clinical team recognize potential medical issues. We rely on our Nurse Aides because they are a fundamental and valuable component of our clinical nursing team.

You will earn: up to $22.90 per hour to start!

• 8 hour shifts - All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays.
• Part Time or Full Time available
• 2nd Shift - (2p-10:30p)
• 3rd Shift - (10p-6:30a)

How You Will Help People Every Day

• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• You will perform and document patient care using the individualized care plans as a guide. Bathing and all activities of daily living related care, such as skin care, preventative and supportive care, routine morning and evening mouth care, shaving, and dressing.
• You will perform and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
• You will support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative and recreational therapies by positively encouraging and promoting continued well-being.
• You will observe and report, as necessary, significant changes in routine or condition as appropriate to your nursing team

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• You have completed of an approved nurse aide training program and passed test.
• Current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification from the State of Michigan REQUIRED.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.
