Job summary

Lifepoint Health in Roxboro, NC seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients in long-term care settings. You will perform basic patient care, assist with daily living activities, and document care per unit standards. This role requires a current NA I license, completion of an approved NA course, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have a current state NA I license and completed NA course from an accredited school.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.
• High School diploma preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.
• Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.
