Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Prospect, Tennessee is hiring an entry‑level Certified Nursing Assistant to support seniors and people with disabilities living independently. This role offers flexible hours and a meaningful career path in a growing home care company.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, light housekeeping, and transportation, and support medication routines under supervision. A HS diploma or GED, background check, reliable transportation, and good communication are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care services experience
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized
• Comfortable using an electronic device

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
• Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition
