Job summary

Castleview Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our care team on a PRN basis with varied shifts and an evening schedule. You will assist with basic patient care under RN/LPN supervision, while upholding privacy, safety, and quality standards in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient mobility and daily care tasks.
• Adheres to safety and infection control protocols.

Position Summary

Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, performs basic patient care activities in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Reports to the Director or Manager of the Department.

Essential Functions Additional Information: Patient Populations Served

Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.

Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.

Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.

Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education

High School diploma preferred.

License /Certifications

Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of practice; BLS required; Handle with Care preferred.
