Twin Oaks Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You will provide compassionate daily care to residents, assist with grooming, bathing, mobility, and positioning, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, adherence to safety policies, and strong communication with residents and staff. We offer full-time shifts and comprehensive benefits to support our team.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Ability to accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
• Strong communication, self-discipline and patience.
• Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked.
• Support Mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record Vital Information: accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
