Job summary

Downtownhealthfw in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. You will provide compassionate daily care to residents, assist with grooming, mobility, and daily tasks, and document vitals and meals accurately.

We value attendance, teamwork, and a patient-focused approach. Must hold a valid Texas CNA certification and demonstrate empathy for the elderly and disabled in a respectful, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Nurse aide certification from TexasState requirements or equivalent.
• Ability to record information accurately and perform basic procedures.
• Strong communication, patience, and self-discipline.
• Genuine care for elderly and disabled residents.
• Understanding of patient rights and employee responsibilities.
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing per policy.
• Maintain resident environment by changing linens and stocking supplies.
• Support mobility with safe ambulation and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Record vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption accurately.
• Assist with positioning to ensure comfort and safety for residents.
• Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.

Your Impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant

In this role, you will:
