Job summary

La Vida Serena Nursing is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver daily personal care and support to residents in a dedicated team environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming, mobility, vitals documentation, and safety-focused positioning. The role requires dedication, punctuality, and a patient-forward approach to elderly and disabled residents.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Can accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
• Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience.
• Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked.
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
