Job Description

We are currently hiring full‑time and part‑time CNA and HHA positions. Candidates will interact directly with persons served, providing comfort, transportation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living needs. Responsibilities include:

• Adhere to professional standards and follow policies, procedures, and federal, state, local, and Joint Commission requirements.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient’s chart.
• Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals.
• Ensure each individual can lead meaningful lives, make personal choices, and achieve maximum independence.
• Help persons served with personal hygiene, including bedpans, baths, shampoos, and showers.

The role involves caring for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and requires a compassionate and energetic approach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• State‑approved CNA certification preferred but not required.
• High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a calm demeanor.
• Good communication skills, including bedside manner.
• Valid Kansas driver’s license with a clean driving record (no suspended license, no DUI, no more than three speeding tickets in any year).
• Pass a criminal background check—no misdemeanor or felony, no petty theft.
• No experience necessary; CNA or HHA a plus.
