Job summary

Covington County Hospital is seeking a compassionate CNA to join our team as a PRN caregiver across all shifts in Collins, MS. A CNA license valid with the MS State Board of Nursing and CPR certification are required. Certification is mandatory.

The role includes assisting patients with daily living activities, measuring vital signs, and communicating health concerns to an RN to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathroom needs.
• Help with bathing and maintaining hygiene and bedding.
• Turn, reposition, and transfer patients between wheelchairs, seats, and beds.
• Assist with meals and feeding.
• Measure vitals: blood pressure, pulse, temperature.
• Report patient concerns to a Registered Nurse.

• Serve meals
• Measure vital signs including blood pressure, pulse and temperature
• Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a Registered Nurse.
