Qualifications

• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.
• Comfort working with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, or upset.
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and assist with resident transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more.
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed.
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for transfers and ambulation.
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed.

Certified Nurse Aide

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team at Avir at Park in Wichita Falls, TX. What You'll Do

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs
• Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed
• Provide catheter care as required
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
