Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire.
• Willingness to work night shifts and provide compassionate patient care.
• Ability to move and assist residents with transfers and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.).
• Provide toileting assistance and turn/reposition residents.
• Answer call lights promptly to determine resident needs.
• Assist with walking and transfers using a gait belt.
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directed.
• Provide catheter care as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Night Shift team at Avir at La Hacienda De Paz Rehabilitation and Care Center Eagle Pass, Texas. As a CNA at Avir, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, providing top‑notch care and support while working closely with our dedicated healthcare team.

What You'll Do:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs
• Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed
• Provide catheter care as required

• Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire
