Job summary

Lifespace Communities in Delray Beach, FL is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to support our Harbours Edge residents with daily living activities and adherence to care plans. This role offers PRN, part-time and full-time opportunities across shifts and is central to delivering compassionate, resident-focused care.

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year experience working with geriatric population.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all care plan directives and administer direct patient care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Observe changes and report to nurse; coordinate vital signs and ADLs records.
• Maintain infection control and a clean, safe environment.
• Answer call lights promptly and assess residents' needs.

• 3 p.m.-11 p.m.

A few details about the role:

• Follow all care plan directives, administer direct patient care and assist residents to perform daily living activities such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, transfer and move residents, and transport residents to dining rooms and various events and activities.
• Initiate resident needs, assessment, and safety by observing and reporting any changes or unusual findings to the nurse.
• Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs as well as maintain records of ADLs.
• Administer standard precautions and infection control standards by providing a clean and safe environment.
• Promptly answer call lights and on a regular basis conduct assesses resident's needs and verify needs of the resident are met.
