Job summary

Lifespace Communities is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide in Juno Beach, FL. The role supports geriatric residents, following care plans, delivering direct care, and promoting resident well-being.

Base pay ranges from $16.95 to $23.31 hourly, with flexible schedules, daily pay options, and generous PTO. The position emphasizes growth opportunities, tuition reimbursement, and a mission-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year working with the geriatric population.
• Certified nursing aide licensure required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow all care plan directives, administer direct patient care and assist residents with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, and transport to dining rooms and events.
• Initiate resident needs, assess and report changes to the nurse.
• Coordinate with nursing to record vital signs and maintain ADL records.
• Adhere to standard precautions and infection control, ensuring a clean, safe environment.
• Respond promptly to call lights and regularly assess resident needs to ensure needs are met.

A few details about the role:

• Follow all care plan directives, administer direct patient care and assist residents to perform daily living activities such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, transfer and move residents, and transport residents to dining rooms and various events and activities.
• Initiate resident needs, assessment, and safety by observing and reporting any changes or unusual findings to the nurse.
• Coordinate with nursing team members to record accurate vital signs as well as maintain records of ADLs.
• Administer standard precautions and infection control standards by providing a clean and safe environment.
• Promptly answer call lights and on a regular basis conduct assesses resident's needs and verify needs of the resident are met.
