Job summary

Heritage Pointe is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide comprehensive patient care in a facility setting. Responsibilities include grooming, bathing, assisting with meals and medications, and monitoring vitals. The role supports patient mobility, bed care, and routine walking exercises alongside a team of nursing staff.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Salary starts at $20.00 per hour, with potential to earn up to $21 per hour plus shift differentials of $3.50 for

• Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility.
• Preparing each patient's room with blankets, pillows, medical equipment, and bathroom needs.
• Helping patients eat and take medications.
• Ensuring patients have regular meals and proper medication dosages.
• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to nursing/medical staff.
• Assisting patients with mobility needs and transferring from wheelchair to bed.
• Turning or adjusting patients to prevent bedsores.
• Assist patients with walking exercises.

Job description

Duties and responsibilities: Certified Nursing Assistants are responsible for many patient care tasks to ensure that each patient receives the comprehensive and personalized care they need. They often have the following responsibilities:

• Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
• Preparing each patient's room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment, and bathroom needs
• Helping patients eat and take medications
• Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages
• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
• Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
• Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
• Exercising patients by helping them walk

Full-time, and part-time positions are available.

Salary: Starting at $20.00 per hour, up to $21 depending on experience, and shift diff of $3.50 per hour is available for 2nd and 3rd shift as well as $4.00 weekend shift diff.
